Tarah Bird is from Clifton Park, NY and has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Stroudsburg University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University and is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She is a Member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, taking walks, spending time at the beach, and reading.
Her professional interests are rooted in child and adolescent psychiatry. Through her clinical experience, she recognized a significant gap in access to quality psychiatric care and the urgent need for greater support for children and families. This inspired her dedication to improving mental health services and advocating for compassionate, evidence-based care. She takes a comprehensive approach when providing care, recognizing that each child/ adolescent is a unique individual and tailors treatment plans to meet your individualtheir goals/needs.
