Dr. Hanz Blatt grew up in Wyomissing and later in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a degree in Biological Basis of Behavior alongside minors in Healthcare Management and Chemistry. He then earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine, where he also completed a research fellowship. Prior to returning home, he managed an NIH Skin Research Center at Northwestern University and published research papers advancing melanoma screening.
After completing his pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Dr. Blatt returned to Wyomissing to practice pediatrics. He and his wife, who is also a community physician, are raising their two children in the local community. When he isn't caring for patients, you can find Dr. Blatt taking walks with his family or cheering on the his kids at local sports games and other community events.
