Dr. Reuben

Mark Reuben, MD

Dr. Mark S. Reuben founded Reading Pediatrics as a solo practice in 1976, when he returned to his native Reading. A graduate of Reading High School, Penn State University and Thomas Jefferson University Medical School , Dr. Reuben did his pediatric training at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Dr. Reuben is director of the Department of Pediatrics at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, having chaired its Medical Liability Committee and currently serves on the Committee for Child Health Financing. He served as president of the Pennsylvania Chapter in 2000-2002. Additionally, Dr. Reuben is a consultant for Highmark (Pennsylvania Blue Shield) and the PMSLIC Insurance Company. Locally, Dr. Reuben has been an active advisor for the Berks County Children and Youth Services, providing consultation on child abuse cases and serving on their Citizens Advisory Board. Additionally, he chairs the County Child Death Review Team. He and his wife occupy their spare time with her singing and golfing together, as well as spending time with their two grandchildren.

Dr. Sergi

Michael Sergi, MD

Dr. Michael Sergi was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and grew up working on his family’s farm. He attended Georgetown University and later Georgetown School of Medicine. In addition, he received his residency training at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Subsequently, he worked several years at the Ireland Army Community Hospital in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Dr. Sergi is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of the Berks County Medical Society. He is a member of the March of Dimes Fund Development Committee. He and his wife, Dr. Tiffany Sergi, reside in Wyomissing with their two children. His interests include running, listening to music and golf.

Tiffany Sergi, MD

Dr. Tiffany Sergi was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and was raised in Geneva, Switzerland, where she completed her high school education. She obtained her college degree, a B.S. in Biology, from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Her pediatric residency was at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. This was followed by three years of general pediatrics in the Army, first at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and then at Fort Knox, Kentucky, where she served as Chief of Pediatrics. Dr. Sergi is a member of the Berks County Medical Society, is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Sergi and her husband have two children. Her interests include skiing, jogging, foreign languages and travel. She has recently been involved with the local Girl Scout chapter.

Dr. Christine Sotiropoulos is a board certified pediatrician. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, and her medical degree with high honors from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri, where she received the University of Missouri Department of Child Health Robert Wood Johnson Outstanding Pediatric Student Award. Dr. Sotiropoulos completed her pediatric residency at the University of Missouri Children’s Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. While a resident, she received the Outstanding Resident Teaching Award. Dr. Sotiropoulos is certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She and her husband, George, have 2 golden retrievers and 6 children between them. You could say they are a “blended family”. Her hobbies include reading, listening to all types of music, and bicycle riding.

Dr. Dana Devaney Dana Devaney, DO

Dr. Dana Devaney was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated with honors from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (now known as the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia) with a dual degree in Biochemistry and Biology. She was a member of Student council, President of the Pre-medical Society and a published research scholar. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, she received her pediatric residency training in Philadelphia at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. She has worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist for the CHOP Connection at Grandview Hospital in Sellersville, Pennsylvania before joining Reading Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Pennsylvania Medical Society and the American Medical Association. Dr. Devaney and her husband, John, have one son. She and her family enjoy music, hiking, biking and outdoor fun.
