Dennis DiRenzo, MD
Dr. Dennis P. DiRenzo was born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, and raised in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He is a cum laude graduate of Franklin and Marshall College where he is a Phi Beta Kappa scholar and received an award in chemistry for academic excellence. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine at Hershey where he also received an award for academic excellence. Dr. DiRenzo did his pediatric residency at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, and then joined the practice at Reading Pediatrics. He is a member of the Berks County Medical Society, is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is board certified in pediatrics. He is married and has two children. His hobbies include, reading, golf and music.

Joe
Girone, MD
Dr. Joseph A. C. Girone is a Developmental Pediatrician.
He obtained his BS in Biology from Villanova University and
his MD degree from the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
Dr. Girone completed a Pediatric residency and a fellowship
in Developmental Pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital
for Children. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics
and the AMA. Dr. Girone has been a
consultant in Developmental Pediatrics at Reading Pediatrics
for over 10 years. His interests are his family, including
4 grandchildren, classic cars, and spectator sports.

Raymond
Hubbard, MD
Dr. Raymond J. Hubbard grew up in the Boston area. He graduated
magna cm laude from Boston College. Following graduation,
he taught for six years while working on a master’s
degree in the sciences and education at Boston College. Subsequently,
he attended Georgetown University School of Medicine. While
at Georgetown, he was selected to participate in the National
Institute of Health’s inaugural program to train medical
undergraduates in research areas. After graduation for Georgetown
School of Medicine, he served his internship and residency
at Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester, New
York. While at the University of Rochester, he served as
Chief Resident in ambulatory pediatrics. Following his residency,
he spent one year as a cardiology fellow at the Children’s
Hospital of Philadelphia. He has received the Teacher of
the Year Award for two successive years from the family practice
residents of St. Joseph Hospital. He resides in Exeter Township
with his wife, Sally, and two children. He is a member of
the Berks County Medical Society, and a fellow of the American
Academy of Pediatrics. He is board certified in pediatrics.
He is active on several advisory boards including Children’s
Home of Reading, and Berks County mental health/Mental retardation.
He also coordinates the Medical Home initiative at Reading
Pediatrics, which focuses on children with special health
care needs.

Johanna
Kelly, MD
Dr. Johanna Kelly was born in New York City, but was raised
in Roswell, New Mexico. She is a high honors graduate from
the University of Notre Dame. Following graduation, she worked
for a year in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in inner city Washington,
D.C. as a Spanish-speaking medical assistant. She then attended
medical school at the University of New Mexico where she
received the Faculty Award for Excellence and the Outstanding
Medical Scholar Award. Her pediatric residency training was
also in New Mexico. She remained at the university as an
Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics before
moving to Pennsylvania. She is board certified in pediatrics,
a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member
of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. She and her husband,
Dan, have two children. Her hobbies include playing guitar,
biking, hiking, water sports, and reading.

Sanand
Menon, MD
Dr. Sanand R. Menon was born and raised in southern
New Jersey. He graduated from Williams College in 1990
and worked as a management consultant in Manhattan for
two years. He then went to the New York Medical college
in West Chester, graduating in 1996. He did his pediatric
residency at Yale’s New Haven Children’s Hospital
and completed his residency in 1999. During the year
of 1999, he worked as Chief Resident at Yale’s Children’s
Hospital in New Haven. He is a member of the Pennsylvania
Medical Society, is a fellow in the American Academy
of Pediatrics and is board certified in pediatrics. He
and his wife, Jody, have a young son, Nathaniel, and
a daughter Madeleine.
